Music Jams, Visitors, and Drowned Cell Phones...
Namaste~
We celebrated our friend Jeff's birthday last night with a Veggie Potluck and Music Jam. And jam we certainly did! He was accompanied by his incredibly cool wife, Kathy, and a VIP list of other fabulous people... You know who you are! The food was so yummy!
Vince's parents (awesomely sweet folks) are also visiting us this week and I am convinced they brought the Vegas heat to Oregon. WOW! It is HOT up here in the NW right now. We used the air conditioner for the first time in the commons house!
Q: So what do inland Oregonians do when the mercury rises?
A: Find the nearest river or lake and proceed as seen in some of these photos... (see below)
Also my nephew, Spencer, and his father Casey have joined us this week for some Om Gardens festivities. What a great summer so far!
Hmmm. What else can I tell you?
Today my father destroyed his cell phone; his precious connection to the outside world is no longer with us. Culprit? Deep river water.
And what else?
Oh, nothing major... just that I will be a father in March pending a smooth pregnancy!!!
Two, count them (2) home tests came up positive! Warm, fuzzy feelings! Let the next era for Moni and I begin! Woo-Hoo! Super-doodle-dandy!!!!
Enough about us though... blush, blush.
Here's some pics...
Om Shanti~
