Namaste~
For us former desert dwellers, Spring is finally feeling like, um well, Spring here at Om Gardens.
Plants are growing, the "BIG" remodel is pushing forward like the "little engine that could," the greenhouse is evolving into a major "food-mart" (thanks to Amanda), and Monica has become a little too attached to the riding lawnmower. Lol.
All kidding aside, things have definitely changed in the lives of the few that have been here since April 1st. We still haven't plugged in a television and I believe our lives are much richer for it. What we HAVE plugged into is a 9:00am Yoga session every single day! Super woman, Monica has been teaching with grace and joy.
Wow. What a trip; what a journey into the unknown.
"City Kids Escape Matrix- FOX 5 - TONIGHT!" What's really interesting, is that growing food and existing WITH nature is unfortunately a foreign affair in today's world. I mean, a child should never have to ask, "Mommy, do apples grow at the super market?" How WOULD we survive if Walmart closed down? These questions and more will be the subject on tonight's program but first let's break for a commercial from our sponsor, McDonalds. : ) Soap box duty relieved. I'll let these pictures speak for us...
• Baby Pears • Grape Vines in Bloom • Buck Taping some Drywall • David's Dentistry 101 • West Green House • Vince and Amanda's Bedroom Window & Closet • Monica doing what she loves best!
Om Shanti~
